Terms of Service

Terms of Service for the Patriot Freelance website, forums and application, owned and operated by Your Right Website LLC:

By using the Patriot Freelance website, app or forum (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by the following terms of this agreement (the “Agreement”):

User Eligibility:

In order to use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age as well as a legal resident of the United States.

User Conduct and Moderation:

By using the Service, you agree that Patriot Freelance may disable, delete or otherwise restrict your account at any time without notice and you agree to waive any liability against Patriot Freelance and it’s parent company and subsidiaries (including Your Right Website LLC) for any losses you may suffer as a result of your account being limited or terminated.

You agree that Patriot Freelance may moderate content on the Service at the discretion of Patriot Freelance and may disable, limit or restrict your content at the sole discretion of Patriot Freelance.

By using the Service, you agree not to spam the service or its members or post any content that is of an illegal or pornographic nature.  You agree that if you do post illegal content on the Service, Patriot Freelance may share your identifying information, including but not limited to your email address, name and IP address with law enforcement.

User Generated Content

Any content that you generate for or post on the Service (the “Content”) will remain your property, but by posting Content to the Service you grant Patriot Freelance and its parent company and subsidiaries a license to host, display and publish the Content on the Patriot Freelance website, forums and application without compensation.  You also grant Patriot Freelance and its parent company and subsidiaries a license to use the Content in any advertising for Patriot Freelance, without compensation to you.

By posting Content on the Service, you agree that you have the legal right and copyrights to post the Content.  You agree to indemnify Patriot Freelance and Your Right Website LLC for any claims arising from Content posted by you that violates US Copyright Law.

Limitation of Liability:

By using the Service, you waive the right to any claim of liability arising out of the use of the Service due to content you may view while using the Service.  You acknowledge that content on the Service is generated by users of the Service and Patriot Freelance and Your Right Website LLC are not the publisher or author of any content generated by users of the Service.  You agree that Patriot Freelance and Your Right Website LLC’s liability shall be limited to the lowest amount allowed under the law under this Agreeement.  In no event shall Patriot Freelance, Your Right Website LLC or our subsidiaries be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

By using the Service you acknowledge that you will be interacting with users, some of which may not be honest or trustworthy.  By using the Service, you agree that Patriot Freelance and Your Right Website LLC shall not be liable for any losses you may incur by using the Service to connect with or purchase services from or provide services to other users of the Service.

Severability:

If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect without being impaired or invalidated in any way. The parties shall work together to replace the invalid, void, or unenforceable provision with a valid and enforceable provision that most closely approximates the parties’ original intent.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kane County, Illinois.

Amendments to this Agreement:

Patriot Freelance may amend this Agreement at any time, without warning or notice to you.  By continuing to use the Service, you agree to periodically check that this Agreement has not been modified and discontinue using the Service if no longer agree with the terms of this Agreement.  Patriot Freelance shall update the last updated date at the top of this Agreement in the event that the content of the Agreement changes in a substantial manner or amount.
